Our Beginnings

The Fountain Head Health Store was founded in September 1993, and was originally located at 112 St Andrew St. September 2001 saw our relocation to the current address at 212 St Andrew St. W. Founder and Owner Nathalie's initial plan for The Fountain Head was to be not only a health store, but a juice bar - an all encompassing health location - a true Fountain Head. Step in to January 2002 and the original cafe opened at the rear of the store, however due to lack of exposure it was relocated in 2004 to the front, offering a more prevalent and convenient setting. 

It took 12 years for there to be any further changes, the biggest in almost 2 decades for the Fountain Head, when the small cafe was completely reimagined, with the creation of The Red Door. A full scale dining room, which still offers the same healthy lunch alternative and dessert options from our humble beginnings. 

Nathalie's interest is in putting people on the road to health - giving you a deeper understanding of your holistic health and wellbeing. The Fountain Head offers a range of health, nutrition and supplement products, as well as environmentally friendly household cleaning products and a vast array of bulk herbs, such as:

Chamomile, Marigold, Nettle, Cleavers, Peppermint, Hibiscus and Avena Sativa (Oat Straw)
